100 year old Church of Santa Barbera, Kaos Temple, Spain converted by Street Artist Okuda San Miguel-
The skate park's hallowed setting is heaven for holy rollers and blasphemers alike, but San Miguel's work brings it to a whole new dimension. It was originally converted from hundred-year-old place of worship to public half pipe thanks to a Crowdfunding Source Campaign on Verkami that got picked up by Red Bull. They invited him to paint the space before they opened it to the public on December 10, and Danny Leon broke in the newly rainbow-fied house of shred.
His iconic artistic piece Kaos Star represents a colorful and isometric rose of the winds that tries to tell us that it does not matter were you are, or what you are doing, what matters are your own goals. He was totally inspired by the space, and made him think of it as a KAOS Temple.
Without question, this will be one of the most important milestones of his career. A creative expression that would love to be a part of the cultural upheaval and will bring a new era to the spaces for art."
